PHYSICS NOBEL PRIZE 2010 AWARDED TO WORLD SCIENTIFIC AUTHORS
World Scientific would like to congratulate our authors, Professor Andre K. Geim and Professor Konstantin S. Novoselov for winning the Nobel Prize in Physics 2010.

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2010 was awarded jointly to Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene".

Professor Geim and Professor Novoselov have published their research results in various World Scientific journals, including International Journal of Modern Physics B, Modern Physics Letters B and International Journal of Nanoscience.

To celebrate their outstanding achievement, we are offering Free Access to articles in these journals.

Their key results on graphene, "The rise of graphene" also appeared in one of the chapters of NANOSCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: A Collection of Reviews from Nature Journals, a co-publication between World Scientific and Nature

NANOSCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
A Collection of Reviews from Nature Journals
edited by Peter Rodgers

This book contains 35 review articles on nanoscience and nanotechnology that were first published in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Materials and a number of other Nature journals. The articles are all written by leading authorities in their field and cover a wide range of areas in nanoscience and technology, from basic research (such as single-molecule devices and new materials) through to applications (in, for example, nanomedicine and data storage).

HANDBOOK OF INSTRUMENTATION AND TECHNIQUES FOR SEMICONDUCTOR NANOSTRUCTURE CHARACTERIZATION
(In 3 Volumes)
edited by Richard Haight, Frances M Ross & James B Hannon

Nanoscience and nanotechnology is an exciting and vibrant field of research. This new handbook, intended for researchers, engineers and advanced graduate students in all areas of nanoscience, is written by eminent scientists and experts who are pushing the forefront of instrumentation and developing key techniques for the study of atomic structural, optical and electronic properties of nanostructured semiconductor materials. This handbook will be a key resource for all researchers in nanoscience and nanomaterials interested in learning about the most important techniques for unlocking the detailed science and properties of nanostructures.

Every year, World Scientific sponsors Singapore's most outstanding high school science student to attend the Nobel Prize Presentation Ceremony. The chosen student this year is Lynn Chua from NUS High School and she will be flying to Stockholm in December to attend the Nobel Ceremony followed by the Nobel Banquet and Nobel Ball at the Stockholm City Hall.

In 1991 World Scientific is awarded by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm the exclusive rights to publish (in English) the entire series of Nobel lectures from 1971 to 1990 and to distribute them worldwide. Subsequently, World Scientific again obtained the rights to publish the complete series of Nobel lectures delivered from 1901 to 2000.
