World Scientific Publishing and Imperial College Press were delighted to attend the 35th International Conference on High Energy Physics. Held at the Palais des Congres, Paris the conference was attended by over 1,000 delegates. As the most important conference where research concerning particle physics, cosmology and astroparticles are discussed, this year's event was particularly special as it was the first ICHEP conference where results obtained at the LHC were presented.
World Scientific and Imperial College Press were particularly delighted to be the publisher who offered their books as prizes to those who had the winning posters. Each winner was invited to choose their prize from the WSPC and ICP range of titles at their busy stand. Further information on the winning prizes can be found here:

Particularly special this year, Nicolas Sarkozy, President of the French Republic, addressed the participants of the ICHEP conference on Monday, July 26th, 2010. His speech can be found at http://www.ichep2010.fr/Allocution_N-Sarkozy.html
It was another successful conference for the international community of particle physics. It was a great opportunity for the exchange and discussion of science by the most eminent researchers in the world. World Scientific Publishing enjoyed meeting with these great minds, some of whom are their authors, and is eagerly awaiting the next conference to be held in 2012.
