Publishing historical atlases on Korean history is a task no publishers have undertaken. There have been similar attempts but the maps and text have been kept separate or the atlases have been conveniently relegated to the appendix sections.
Other publishers also faced the problem of insufficient mapped data which exists for locations important to the study of Korean history over several millennia. Even with current state-of-the-art technology, detailed and contour maps on Korea Historical sites have only recently begun to emerge.
Atlas of Korean History overcomes both obstacles.
Here is the FIRST historical atlas that showcases over 5000 years of Korean history from ancient time till present through state-of-the-art, three-dimensional maps, diagrams, and concise historical descriptions.
Atlas of Korean History unveils Korean history by presenting text and related maps on each topic across facing pages for reading convenience. Readers are quickly involved in the atlas' interactive literature consisting of concise information and maps that complement. Atlas of Korean History is a lavishly illustrated and comprehensive reference book which features over 183 maps, 93 pictures and 46 diagrams.
